Dr. Reynaldo L. Jiménez
Dr. Reynaldo Jiménez is the current Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Florida. He holds a PhD. in Spanish American Literature from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. His area of specialization is Contemporary Spanish American Narratives and Cuban and Latino literatures. Since 1980, Dr. Jiménez has taught seminars on the Latin-American Bildungsroman, U.S. Hispanic Literature, Hispanic Women Writers, Contemporary Cuban Fiction, and seminars on literature by Alejo Carpentier at the University of Florida.
